The Heart of Racing kicks off 2025 season during 24H of Dubai
DUBAI (January 6, 2025) - The Heart of Racing Team will start the 2025 season at Dubai Autodrome competing in Creventic’s 24H SERIES season opener, January 10-12. 24H of Dubai veterans Ian James and Gray Newell will team up with event newcomers Hannah Grisham and Zacharie Robichon.
This weekend, the Heart of Racing Team will make its third 24H of Dubai start in GT3 machinery, having scored third and fifth place finishes in the Pro-Am category the previous two years. Newell has made each start at Dubai with the team, including a GT4 start in 2022 where Newell, James, Roman De Angelis, and Alex Riberas scored a second place finish in an Aston Martin Vantage. James made his first start in Dubai in 2017 and has made three additional appearances since then.
Though Robichon will be making his Dubai debut start, he is no stranger to GT3 competition. The 2021 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Series GTD champion and 2023 European Le Mans Series champion joined the Heart of Racing Team in 2024, competing in the No. 27 IMSA GTD entry.
“I’m ready to get the 2025 season started this weekend in Dubai,” said Robichon. “It will be my first time racing there and my first time sharing a car with Ian, Gray and Hannah, but we have a great lineup. The team has had success in Dubai in the past, so hopefully we can kick the year off with a solid finish before heading to Daytona next week.”
Grisham will be making her first GT3 start after two full seasons in Pirelli GT4 America competition. Grisham has seven podium finishes in the No. 26 Aston Martin Vantage since joining the team after winning the Heart Of Racing all-female driver shootout in 2022.
“I’m extremely excited to be making my GT3 debut in the 24 hours of Dubai,” said Grisham. “It’ll be a new challenge for me as it will be my first time in the Mercedes AMG GT3 and at Dubai Autodrome. I’m looking forward to learning as much as I can from my teammates, as well as getting to share a car with Ian, Gray, and Zach! I’m looking forward to a new challenge and growing as a driver, thank you Heart of Racing for this incredible opportunity!”
The 24 hour enduro will take the green flag on Saturday January 11th at 4:00am ET / 1:00pm local. Watch flag to flag coverage on Creventic Motorsport TV YouTube Channel.
