Traveling to the northern hills of California, The Heart of Racing (HOR) completed the first rounds of Pirelli GT4 America competition for the 2023 championship. The No. 25 Aston Martin returned to competition after starting the GT America powered by AWS season in St. Petersburg in March.

The Heart of Racing (HOR) has grown its SRO program for the 2023 season, and will kick the full championship off this weekend at Sonoma Raceway with one entry in the GT America powered by AWS series as well as two Aston Martins in the Pirelli GT4 America series.

Racing at the track for the second time, Gray Newell scored his highest finish at the street course, placing second in the No. 25 Aston Martin Vantage GT4 following a Friday night shootout in the dark, and then following that up with another run to second place in the second 40-minute race of the weekend.

Gray Newell’s No. 24 Aston Martin Vantage GT4 is set to race the streets of St. Petersburg this weekend for the first event of the GT America powered by AWS season. The pair of street sprints will kick off the 2023 SRO season for Heart of Racing (HOR).
