The Heart of Racing has completed its driver lineups in its two FIA World Endurance Championship LMGT3 entries. The previously announced Gray Newell will be joined by Jonny Adam and Eduardo “Dudu” Barrichello in the No. 23 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage. The Ian James, Zacharie Robichon, and Mattia Drudi trio will reunite in the No. 27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage.

The No. 23 Heart of Racing entry joins the field with a mix of fresh talent and wise knowledge. Gray is new to the World Endurance Championship; the American is coming off a successful season in SRO GT World Challenge America, where he earned three podium finishes. Dudu will set off on his second WEC season after securing two pole positions and a podium in his first season in the championship. Jonny is welcomed back to WEC, having made over 30 starts in the series since 2013. Jonny has eleven WEC podiums, including class wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Circuit of the Americas, and Fuji Speedway.

“I am super excited to be joining The Heart of Racing in 2026 and returning to WEC,” said Jonny, two-time British GT Champion. “Teaming up with Dudu, who had some awesome performances last season in LMGT3, alongside supporting Gray’s first year in WEC and the Le Mans 24 Hours, is something that I’m really getting fully involved in. The goal is to gain experience along the way and, hopefully, achieve some successful results for the team with the Aston Martin Vantage. I believe that’s entirely possible with this line-up.”

“It’s such a pleasure to be returning to WEC this year with such a special group of people,” said Dudu. “I’m really excited to get going, and I’m beyond grateful for The Heart of Racing for the opportunity they have given me in both WEC and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.”

Ian, who has been a staple in the No. 27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage since it entered WEC, has a pole award and a win at Circuit of the Americas with an additional four podium finishes. Zach will embark on his third full season in WEC, his second WEC season with The Heart of Racing. Mattia joins the team for his second full season in WEC after securing pole position for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The trio closed out the 2025 season on the podium at Bahrain International Circuit in November.

The 2026 World Endurance Championship season will kick off on Saturday, March 28th, with a ten-hour enduro in Qatar. Leading up to Saturday’s race will be the season prologue on Monday and Tuesday, before three practice sessions and qualifying later in the week.
